As many of you know, NEVS/Saab Cars has lost the right to use the Saab name.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

So... this has left me wondering... IF NEVS is able to come out of creditor protection, what name brand should they give the cars they build?

Maybe they can do what was done at Chrysler where Dodge Trucks became RAM.

Only problem is I don't think 9-3 or 9-5 would be good. But Sonnet, Griffin, Aero or Viggin might work. But names like Zombie, Undead or Purgatory might be more fitting...

Do they still have the rights to the logo? If so, "Griffin" would be an easy move. Or SA(f)AB - Swedish Automobile Factory AB.

Moot point anyway, since they're probably really dead for real this time. Some other Chinese company might scoop up the tooling and intellectual property and ship it to the People's Republic for use under their own brand, but SAAB as a Swedish automaker is basically gone.
